We are a husband and wife dental practice focused on the needs of your whole family. Our ethos is simple: we aim to provide the quality of service we would expect as patients ourselves – effective, attentive and affordable. We believe the best way to achieve and maintain good dental health is to prevent dental problems in the first place.

A few words from the Old Grammar School Team

We are Tim and Jacquetta Rodgers: dental surgeons and owners of The Old Grammar School Dental Surgery. We are married and have two children, a dog and a hamster. Dentistry runs in our family. Tim’s parents established The Old Grammar School Medical & Dental Practice in St. Ives in 1977.

We offer the standard of care that we would wish for our family. This represents high quality and good value with the emphasis on prevention to keep your mouth healthy and looking good.

Tim Rodgers BDS BSc | GDC no 73175

I was brought up in St. Ives. I studied Pure and Applied Mathematics at The University of Leeds between 1989-92 before turning my attention to dentistry. In 1992, I moved up to Newcastle-upon-Tyne to study Dentistry and graduated from The University of Newcastle in 1997. I returned to the St. Ives area and joined The Old Grammar School Dental Surgery in 1999.

I have considerable experience in all aspects of family dental care but particularly enjoy endodontic treatment (root fillings) and cosmetic treatments and have an interest in Orthodontics (the straightening of teeth with braces). I enjoy treating patients with dental anxiety and treating children and the family as a whole. I am is also committed to post graduate education, attending many courses each year as part of my own personal development.
